Mixed Doubles: A Collaborative Exhibit
July 1-31, 2022
ACCI celebrates the Art of Collaboration
Art and craft are usually solitary activities. But at ACCI gallery a new show called Mixed Doubles celebrates the chemistry and creativity that come when artists work together.
More than a dozen artists share their skills and spirit of invention creating more than 40 new pieces for this show that opens July 1. A woodworker and mosaic artist. A painter and photographer. A metal worker and mixed-media artist. And so on. The show includes two benches, four mirrors, a chess set and table, earrings and necklaces, a variety of mixed-media collaborations and much more.
It’s the first such collaborative show for the cooperative in our 63 year history. The opening reception will be held on International Day of Cooperatives, July 2, 4-6pm.

“It’s inspiring to work with another artist you respect and admire. In the end you arrive at a destination you could never have discovered on your own.”
