Vince MontagueCeramics
Vince Montague is a writer and ceramicist. His short stories and essays have appeared in magazines including The Green Mountains Review, Other Voices, The Florida Review, Nimrod and River Styx. He’s the recipient of the Katherine Anne Porter Award in Fiction from The University of Tulsa. His plays have been produced at The Eureka Theater and The Exit Theater in San Francisco. In 2012, he was chosen as one of ten Bay Area Writers to collaborate with ten Bay Area Artists as part of the exhibition of “Broadsides Attractions: Vanquished Terrains.”
As a ceramicist, his work has been exhibited at Blue Line Gallery, The San Francisco Zen Center, and Red Brick Studios. He is an exhibiting artist at ACCI Gallery in Berkeley, CA, and a member of the artist collective The Oakland Museum of Ceramics. His work was selected for inclusion in the Crocker Kingsley exhibition (2019) Ceramics in Focus, Davis (2019) and Visions in Clay, Stockton (2019) as well as other juried shows.
