In my artistic journey, I explore dance and various art forms, but it is painting that allows my true voice to emerge. With acrylics' versatility, I create vibrant, layered compositions that breathe life into every stroke on the canvas. Raising four wolf dogs deepened my bond with these gentle creatures, inspiring a series of paintings that pay homage to their majestic grace and beauty. From my coastal Massachusetts upbringing to my current residence in Berkeley, California, the ocean and desert scenes fuel my creativity, offering endless inspiration and solace. Family plays a central role in my artistic pursuit. My daughters, Julia and Ashley, accomplished artists themselves, drive me to push creative boundaries with their unwavering support and encouragement. As an artist, my canvas becomes a storyteller, conveying the depth of my passions through a vibrant and emotive visual language.
