Ceramics
My ceramic sculptures are inspired by the natural world: mountains, rocks, streams, sand and plants. All of my pieces are hand built to show the delicate and sensual forms present in the natural world. By leaving my pieces unglazed, I also highlight the natural and unique texture of clay. I studied design at Seoul National University in South Korea, but discovered the delights of ceramic work later in life. My retreat is my home studio, where I continue my explorations in this medium.
