CCA Jewelry Metal Arts 2022 BFA Graduates Exhibition

This exciting exhibition features recent graduates from the Jewelry Metal Arts program at CCA (California College of the Arts). These works describe the entanglements of life, ancestral connections, and escapes to relive past innocence. Performative, wearable, and contemplative objects show the diversity of creativity of this group. Participating artists include Chengjie Jin, Kirra Teal Hellfritsch, MEZTLI, Mitchell Shim, Olivia Chuyue Wang, Xi Ao, Yumeng Wu and Zoe Holtzman.
Facilitated by Curtis Hidemasa Nickerson Arima, Chair of the Jewelry & Metal Arts Program and Associate Professor at California College of the Arts Arima's sculptural work and jewelry have been exhibited nationally and internationally including venues such as The National Ornamental Metals Museum and the Fuller Craft Museum. His publications include: Metalsmith Magazine, Sculpture Magazine, the Lark 500 Series books, and New Brooches. He has lectured and taught workshops in the US, Japan, and China. |
