An Exhibit of all things Botanical, featuring ACCI Artists
April 14 - May 27, 2023

Presented by the ACCI Garden Committee, our biennial exhibition: Bold Botanicals will be showing from April 14 – May 27 with the opening Reception on Saturday, April 22. We want lots of member participation with both indoor and outdoor art! For 2D art there will be 4-6 ft. of available wall space in the back gallery for each artist. The 3D work will be shown both in the garden and indoors, depending on its size and outdoor compatibility. We will have an online version of the show highlighting artists and selected pieces in addition to the gallery presentation.

To add to the botanical festivities, ACCI will again be collaborating with the Berkeley Garden Club to present the "Art and Plant Street Sale", Saturday May 6 and the "Art in the Garden Tour", Saturday May 20.

Artists must commit via the registration form below by March 22nd.

We will need a photo of yourself, 2 sample art pieces that you plan to include in the show, and a 150-300word paragraph describing your work process, favorite media, and most importantly your inspiration for the show and pieces you are submitting. This information will be used at the show and for advertising and on-line presentation.

Deadline for application: March 22
Artists must submit Inventory List to gallery: by Saturday, April 1
Art Delivery (Inventory Submission): April 10
Installation: Tues-Thurs April 11-13
Exhibition opens Friday, April 14
Opening Reception: Saturday, April 22
Special Event: Art & Plant Street Sale, Saturday May 6, 10am-5pm
Art in the Garden Tour featuring outdoor art from the exhibit and live demonstrations: Saturday, May 20, 10am-3pm (ACCI Gallery 11-6pm)
De-install: Sunday, May 28, 11am-6pm

The following section is for you to submit photos and information for us to use in promotions, on our website and social media accounts. This is not the place for specifics about the number of pieces you intend to submit, or details about the individual works.

1. Please submit a high resolution photo of your face, a candid photo of you, or you at work in your studio, at least 600px wide in .jpg format.

2. Give us a BRIEF intro to yourself and your work: 150-300 words only! This can include how long you've been making botanical art, your favorite media to work in, what inspires you to work in botanical themes, etc. Don't submit generic information about your work, tell us why you are participating in this show!

3. Please submit two high-resolution photos of works you intend to submit to the show. You are not limited to these two works; we just need your best "shots" for promoting the show. Choose crisp, close-up, richly colored photos, and make sure they are at least 600px wide in .jpg format.
