Terms commonly used at ACCI in jewelry descriptions and their abbreviations in case you are trying to fit more words on the inventory form for your description:
 
sm means small
med means medium
lg means large

K as in 24K mean carat as in gold. So write 16K, 18K, 24K with no space between the number and the k
KB means keum boo or the Korean process of bonding thin layers of 24K gold to a silver surface
w/ means “with” and is made with a small w and a slash or /
sz means size
cz means cubic circonia
fs means fine silver
gf means gold fill or gold over silver, and please use small letter for both
Ni = niobium
Vermeil should be fully written out
Arg means argentium silver, and please use a capital A and small ‘rg’
ss means sterling silver
st = Steel
Ti = Titanium
Cu means copper, and please use a capital C and a small ‘u’
Alum mean aluminium, and please use a capital A and  small ‘lum’
Brz means bronze, and please use a capital B and small ‘rz’
