Wood
I am a woodworker exploring the relationship between material, process, and time. Working primarily with salvaged and found wood, I embrace natural irregularities—knots, cracks, and live edges—as essential elements of each piece. My practice balances technical discipline with the spontaneity of the material, creating a dialogue between control and discovery. I am the fourth generation to use my great-grandfather’s lathe, grounding my work in a lineage of craftsmanship and tradition. Though rooted in functional objects, my work straddles the boundary between craft and art. Each piece is made to be used, gathering wear and meaning as part of its ongoing life.
