Please join us for an evening of food, wine and music to celebrate the completion of this community project! Hosted by the ACCI Gallery and the North Shattuck Association, with all proceeds to benefit art programs at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School. Bids start at just $10, and tiles can be donated back to the school to be placed in the newly redesigned courtyard and in the Edible Schoolyard!

The North Shattuck Association has been working with Martin Luther King Middle School and the ACCI Gallery on a stepping stone mosaic paver project. “Paving the Way” brings students, artists, community volunteers, and neighborhood businesses together to create art, build community,
and raise funds for art programs at the middle school. ACCI Gallery artist Karen Mason spearheaded the project, with help from other ACCI artists, the MLK art teachers,
the North Shattuck Association, and community volunteers. Other partners are: Talavera Ceramics, Heath Ceramics, Berkeley Technology Academy,
Floor Dimensions and The Cheese Board.
