| All participants will each exhibit a painting in ACCI’s new satellite space at Starbucks 1600 Shattuck Ave for the duration of the exhibition. Please visit both locations for the full spectrum of these artists’ work. | The
exhibition showcases the work of 6 ACCI artist members including painter
Leroy Parker, a professor at San Jose State University. Leroy returns to
ACCI after a twenty-five year hiatus. Also exhibiting is Kathleen King,
a member of the women’s abstract painting group, Collective 9. Philippe
Janssens is primarily a jeweler whose strong designs in silver and semi-precious
stones are collected by celebrities. Philippe will show his new sculpture
and paintings in this exhibition. Gina Papen is also a jeweler. Her dichroic
glass pendants are non-representational miniature paintings. In this exhibition,
Gina takes her designs to canvas. Susan Putnam, a veteran ACCI member, will
exhibit her acrylic paintings on silk, inspired by the human form.
